Burns Open Long Course Meet:

We jointly hosted, with Chester le Street and Gateshead & Whickham, the Burns Open Long Course Meet at Ponds Forge, Sheffield on 27th-28th January 2007.

Congratulations to all those who swam there and achieved good times. Thanks to all those parents who helped.

NDCASA Championships 2007: 800m Freestyle

Congratulations to all those who swam at the 800m Freestyle day at Middlesbrough on 3rd February.

Special congratulations to Charlie Harris-Pratt who won gold in the Boys 11 years age group and Jo Jackson who won gold in the Ladies Open in a British and Commonwealth record time of 8:15.50.

These were held at Darlington on 17/18th February.

Gold medals were won by:

Steph Johnson: Open 50m Freestyle, 100m Buterfly and 200m Butterfly
Rachael Wilson: Open 50m Breaststroke, 100m Breaststroke, 200m Breaststroke and 100m IM
Abby Johnson: Open 200m Freestlye, Youth 100m Freestyle and 200m Freestyle
Jenny Anderson: Junior 200m Butterfly
